EIA ADVOCACY & INFORMATION
Information, advocacy, and education for individuals, families and other organizations that require assistance in navigating the Provincial Employment and Income Assistance Program
CFCS in consultation with other community agencies has produced a handbook entitled Navigating the Employment and Income Assistance Program: “Advocate for Your Rights and Know Your Responsibilities”. This handbook is unique in that it is the first document available to the community that combines the compilation of the excellent advocacy tips laid out in a variety of EIA advocacy handbooks developed over the years by a number of nonprofit community agencies, with the inclusion of the actual benefits offered through EIA for which persons may be eligible. The handbook is in the form of a binder which will be updated as EIA policies and procedures change. It is available for purchase at a nominal cost. Please contact CFCS if you are interested in obtaining one.
EIA Advocacy & Information services are provided to individuals, the community and other agencies free of charge
